Το visitlesvos.gr παρουσιάζει με ένα μοναδικό τρόπο όλες τις περιοχές της Λέσβου (Μυτιλήνης) όπου μπορεί να κάνει ο καθένας διακοπές. Αφού πρώτα έχει την δυνατότητα να γνωρίζει όλες τις επιλογές για τη διαμονή (ξενοδοχεία, ενοικιαζόμενα δωμάτια), το φαγητό (εστιατόρια, ταβέρνες), τη διασκέδαση, αλλά και όλα τα αξιοθέατα (μουσεία, θρησκευτικά μνημεία, αρχαιολογικοί χώροι, ιαματικές πηγές, περιπατητικές διαδρομές, υγροβιότοποι, ακτές και παραλίες) με φωτογραφίες και χάρτες κάθε περιοχής του νησιού.

Απλωμένη αμφιθεατρικά σε επτά λόφους, με το φρούριό της να ξεχωρίζει από μακριά, η Μυτιλήνη, μαγεύει τους επισκέπτες της από την πρώτη στιγμή. Aποτελεί μία από τις αρχαιότερες πόλεις της Eλλάδας και σύμφωνα με τα ιστορικά στοιχεία, η ίδρυσή της τοποθετείται στις αρχές του 10ου αιώνα π.χ.

Οι ομορφιές της Μυτιλήνης δεν εξαντλούνται στην πόλη, αλλά συνεχίζονται και στα χωριά της που τη ζώνουν από βορρά και νότο. Τα χωριά αυτά είναι: οι Ταξιάρχες, η ΑγίαΜαρίνα, τα Λουτρά, τα Αλυφαντά, η Παναγιούδα, η Μόρια, τα Πάμφιλα, ο Αφάλωνας.

Further to the north one can visit Thermi, a municipality comprising Thermi itself and the small village of Pirgi Thermis renowned mainly for three things: the well-organised beach of Kanoni, the hot springs and last but not least the St Raphael Monastery built on the hill of Karies.

This traditional village located some 13 kilometres to the east of Methymna is literally perched on the rock of the surrounding mountain. Sykamnia is the birthplace of Stratis Myrivilis, a prose-writer, a journalist and an academic. Nowadays you can visit his residence along with beautiful public fountains. But the real natural asset of this place is its panoramic view of the Aegean Sea and Asia Minor.

Kalloni is situated in the middle of the island. It is the administrative center of the Municipality of Kalloni and in the last years it has experienced spectacular progress in all fields, as it has also become an economic commercial center. It attracts many tourists every year both for its very good infrastructure works and for its unique natural beauty and sights. At the center of the village visitors will be impressed by the school building which houses the Primary School.

Perched on the bank of Mt. Olympos, Agiasos stands out for its rich vegetation, its architecture and its traditional arts and crafts (pottery – wood carving). Its main tourist attraction is the Pilgrimage of the Virgin Mary. The church possesses the miracle-performing icon of the Virgin Mary the Child Bearer (4th cent. AD). According to tradition, the icon of the Virgin Mary is the work of Lucas the Evangelist.
