Anaxos

Anaxos Beach is located at a distance of 2.7 km approximately to the west of the traditional town of Petra. This beach, almost 700 m wide, is a sandy beach with modern organization, such as recliner beach chairs, umbrellas, changing booths and showers. The view to Molyvos complements the natural beauty of this beach, combined with a small stream flowing on the south side. Beach bars, restaurants and children’s playgrounds are close by. Marine sport equipment may be rented, including sea bikes, canoes, etc. The area is an agricultural region lying outside the settlement of Anaxos.
