International Mountain Bike Race Lesvos-Molyvos Urban MTB

The International Mountain Bike Race is held in Molyvos and it is one of the leading sports events in the North Aegean region. The organizers strive to promote the cultural and environmental significance of Molyvos and emphasize the special Olympic spirit of cross-country mountain biking MTB. Individual athletes and national teams, both men’s and women’s, from all over Greece and aboard flock to participate in the race in order to accumulate points for participation in Olympic Game cycling events. Moreover, the Pan-Hellenic Championship takes place here offering its spectators a thrilling contest and a majestic view of Molyvos Castle. The games are organized by the Tourism Service of Molyvos under the auspices of the International Cycling Federation UCI and the Hellenic Cycling Federation EOP.
