Aghios Isidoros
To the southwest of the town of Plomari, at a distance of 2.5 km, there is Aghios Isidoros Beach, named after the small chapel in this area. Both the coastal zone and the sea bottom are covered with pebbles and rocky protrusions here and there. The middle part of the beach is organized with changing booths, umbrellas, recliner beach chairs, showers, trash containers and bins, including a volley ball court and an on-duty lifeguard. One can find rooms for rent, restaurants, refreshment venues, soccer pitches and an abandoned factory. The town of Aghios Isidoros combines intensive tourist activity with farming inland. This place has exquisite beauty and crystal-clear waters which attract many tourists especially in the summer months.
