Kalo Limani

To the north of Skalohori and east of Antissa one can visit Kalo Limani or Camur Liman. This is a sandy beach in a small cove. It is only partially organized with showers and changing booths. There are also tavernas serving delicious seafood and fish. This is another quiet, secluded place for peaceful enjoyment of nature. There are many locals who enjoy visiting this place.  Close to this beach we can see the picturesque cove which lent its name to the beach. Camur Liman (meaning “Muddy Cove” in Turkish). This was renamed to Kalo Limani (the “Good Cove”) after the liberation of the island from the Ottoman Turks.
