Melinda

Close to the community of Plomari, at a distance of 48 km away from Mytilini lies Melinda Beach. This is a beach of unparalleled beauty, with clear waters and a majestic rock on the west side of the beach. Many brave this precipice to dive into the sea. This is also an ideal spot for fishing. The pebbly beach is yet another fine destination for vacations in peace and quiet as the tourist infrastructure is not as developed as in other places. The visitor, however, may lie on recliner beach chairs and under umbrellas rented from the tavernas or the rented rooms on the shoreline, while enjoying mezedes with ouzo in front of the sea.
