Molyvos Beach

At a distance of 62 km to the northwest of Mytilini we find the beach of Molyvos next to the homonymous settlement. This is a wide beach cove with fine sand, fine-grain pebbles and shallow, calm, crystal-clear waters.

Reclining beach chairs, showers and changing booths are available to bathers here, along with sporting facilities and children’s playgrounds. The coastal zone has been subjected to tourist intervention as there are quite a few refreshment vending points, restaurants that have restricted the beach zone. The beach has organized facilities equipped with tourist services, such as rest rooms for persons with special needs, changing booths, showers, toilets, trash containers and bins, umbrellas and recliner beach chairs. To the northwest 250 m from the beach, there is a marina for recreational vessels. There is beautiful view from the beach, with the imposing castle on the acropolis fortifications right in front of you.  This is an ideal destination for marine sports enthusiasts, tour boat leasing or scuba diving hobbyists.
