Petra Beach

Petra Beach is located on the northern coast of Lesvos with an extensive sandy shore and clear waters. There are a few tamarisks growing on the beach. There are modern amenities available to visitors such as reclining beach chairs, umbrellas and children’s playground, restaurants, cafeterias and souvenir shops. This beach is amenable to marine sports and volley ball including a snorkeling center and sports equipment rental enterprises. It has been granted a Blue Flag award. To the north at distance of 200 m from the bathing zone there is a shore breaker and marina for small recreational boats.
