“Selada” Women’s Agrotourist Cooperative at Aghia Paraskevi

“Selada” Women’s Agrotourist Cooperative at Aghia Paraskevi was established in 2001 by a group of 12 dynamic women from Aghia Paraskevi. Applying their collective experience in baking and cooking, they prepare their own products and then sell them. Of course the ingredients are all from their home town, Aghia Paraskevi. Their customers have the opportunity to enjoy local recipes and all their home-made products, including sweet baby tomato, zucchini, quince and bitter lemon among many other products on offer by the Cooperative. Amygdalota and platsenta made by these ladies are famous. We should also mention their home-made pasta, such as trahana, noodles, macaroni, all prepared with the purest ingredients of the island with no additives or preservatives.
