Skala Mistegnon

Skala Mistegnon Beach is on the eastern coast of Lesvos, 16 km from the city of Mytilini. Only one part of this beach is organized, offering showers, changing booths, umbrellas and reclining beach chairs. Visitors may be served by the restaurants and refreshment stands right next to the beach. The beach is covered with pebbles, with sparse tamarisk tress vegetation providing much wanted shade. The town of Skala Mistegnon is not compactly built and so it is interspersed with farms and orchards, mainly olive trees.
