The Tourism Service of Molyvos developed a network of hiking and biking routes aiming at bringing the visitor into direct contact with nature, the inhabitants and the history of the Lesvos regions. This effort was helped active by the Local Development Association of Lesvos (ETAL) SA which realized a great part of the signage and the mapping of the routes. The trail network is promoted through a printed leaflet/map containing detailed descriptions of the proposed routes (eleven hiking and four biking routes), as well as helpful data for the visitor, such as estimated time of completion, distances in km, the degree of difficulty, points of interest, etc. The leaflet/map is available in Greek and English, it is free in Lesvos, making these routes ideal hiking and cycling routes.
