The area around the Evergetoulas River easily impresses visitors due to its unparalleled natural beauty. The visitor often encounters cool springs, traditional fountains and small streams. Ideal for nature lovers due to its rich network of paths. The river Evergetoulas, to which the name of the Municipality is due, originates in the north-west from the slopes of Mount Olympus, passes through the Lampou Mills, joins the river that descends from Karyni (Ethirnos) and empties into the backwater of Dipio. Pigadakia has a lot of tourist traffic. It is a seaside area with many rooms for rent and traditional taverns. The area of ​​Agioi Anargyroi is famous for its many plane trees and its rich natural green landscape. Another famous area is Karyni, with its special landscape and huge plane trees and walnut trees, among which is the famous “Platanus of Theophilos”, where the well-known popular painter Theophilos stayed for a while inside the huge tree trunk. Dipi, or Dip, with its picturesque harbor and taverns located between old industrial buildings, is a magnet for many visitors. At the entrance of the settlement, there is a small sandy beach, ideal for swimming but also for fishing for various shellfish. Finally, the area of ​​Dipio has a wetland of unique beauty with rich flora and fauna located on both sides of the Evergetoulas river delta (the area has been included in the Natura 2000 project).
