Stuffed Squash Blossoms

This is one of the favorite and famous Lesvian dishes.



20 squash blossoms (as many as you want; the more the better)

½ kg. sharp feta cheese

3-4 eggs


For the batter:

Pinch of salt, pinch of pepper

Water to measure (enough to make a thick batter)

Frying oil



Step 1

Rinse and clean out the inside of the blossoms.

Step 2

Break up the feta cheese and mix the lumps with the eggs.

Steps 3

In a separate bowl start mixing the batter ingredients.

Step 4

Stuff the blossoms with the feta mix, pressing the blossoms edges together to keep the batter inside and place them in the hot oil. Once brown on all sides, take them out and place them on kitchen paper towel.
